ryc: I always try to keep the faith! hah I just know from personal experience that a home test can be wrong. Had I tested before I went in for the beta, it would have been negative because the number was too low for a home test to pick up.
I'm glad yours was positive and that you're both coming along nicely. Can't wait to see the next set of u/s pics!
