Well, yesterday I hit the twelve week mark! It's not really the end of the first trimester because I figure you are pregnant for 40 weeks, divided by three...so each trimester is 13.333 weeks long. BUT...it means that I'm officially done with butt shots, estrogen pills, and baby aspirin!! All I take is a prenatal. I'm like a REAL, NORMAL pregnant chick now! Yay!
We have an ultrasound today for our first-trimester screeing. They screen for downs and trisomy 13 and 18. Last week they were able to do one of the measurements and all looked good, so let's hope that continues! I can't wait to see the little peanut. I bet s/he has grown since last week!
